The Central Sierra foothills are quickly becoming an alternative getaway to the more populated Napa Valley. The wineries that surround our Mt. Aukum event center offer a personal experience and a more leisurely pace. Visitors are often greeted by owners of our boutique wineries and treated to lively conversation along with wine tasting. Yet another attraction of the region is proximity to popular casinos that draw thousands of people who enjoy both gaming and gazing at the beauty of the foothills.

Mt. Aukum is also conveniently close to fishing streams that tumble though canyons, serene lakes and spectacular views and recreational opportunities. The Sierra National Forest is our neighbor. In fact, El Dorado County is host to 1 million acres of national forest lands and 11,000 acres of lakes. All these natural resources make the foothills an ideal place for groups to get away from it all, be renewed and celebrate.
